Visiting Morshead
Delivery surpassing expectations

Overlooking Paddington Recreation Ground, Morshead Mansions is perhaps the premier mansion block in Maida Vale.

Morshead Mansions was built in the Edwardian era in about 1904 and is made up of thirteen separate but contiguous blocks each comprising of eight - two to three bedroom flats of about 950 sq ft. In the past 10 years, the building has been extensively renovated, restoring its original architectural features and providing modern mains services.

The renovation has been managed by Morshead Mansions Limited (MML), the freehold company established and wholly owned by the leaseholders. Each flat has a share in the freehold company and a new 999 year lease. Its Director is David Wismayer.

The website features video clips, information and pictures that detail Morshead’s history and development, which has transformed the building into a modern 104 flat residency.

Morshead Mansions is close to the Maida Vale and Warwick Avenue underground stations on the Bakerloo line. Maida Vale station is only two stops from Paddington Station’s mainline terminus and the Heathrow Express service. Regular bus services provide alternative connections to the West End.

“In maintaining the fabric of its buildings in a very high state of repair and in the management of their affairs, Morshead Mansions enjoys the support and commitment of the overwhelming majority of its shareholders.”
David Wismayer, Director.
